What is it like to run your hand over sandpaper? to see the color green? to smell a fresh cup of coffee? These subjective qualities of conscious experience are referred to as qualia -- the "way it feels" to have certain mental states. Because much of Graphic Design seeks to tap into qualia, this blog will provide an outlet for me to post various images and thoughts related to the history of the field.
